Kevlar motorcycle pants with armor
Choose a pair of armored motorcycle pants
Motorcycle riding pants need to be strong and durable with armor positioned to protect high impact areas. If you’re considering adding a pair of Kevlar motorcycle pants with armor to your riding wardrobe, check out what PANDO MOTO has on offer.
Kevlar in motorcycling
For years Kevlar was a material of choice for motorcycle apparel. It is strong, abrasion resistant, and can withstand exposure to high temperatures. But, as the textile industry has advanced there have been newer alternatives created, including Cordura, Armalith and Balistex.
Try Cordura instead
Cordua is an innovative fabric that’s made of a blend of cotton and military-grade INVISTA T420 nylon 6.6 staple fiber. The look is something that resembles denim, but the material is far more resistant to abrasion and tears. Looking at it from the standpoint of safety, function and style, Cordura ticks all the boxes to be a viable alternative to Kevlar when it comes to creating high quality motorcycle gear.
Armored for protection
When designing a pair of motorcycling pants with armor it almost goes without saying that the knees and hips are two of the most important body parts that need to be protected. Since these are regarded as high impact, protective inserts and armor pouches were added to the PANDO MOTO designs. Throughout the range various types of armor has been used, including low profile SAS-TEC visco-elastic soft foam that’s very flexible and the highly impact absorbing D30 armor which can disperse energy from a blunt force hit.
