Head of Product

We are currently looking for a Head of Product who can turn market opportunities into commercially strong, technically excellent products. This is not just a product coordination role. You will lead the full product development process together with the Founder/Creative Director, from identifying market gaps and shaping product concepts to building business cases, working with suppliers, launching products, and supporting business growth.

This is a shared leadership responsibility: the Founder/Creative Director brings the brand vision, creative direction, and product DNA, while you bring structure, market logic, commercial thinking, development discipline, and team leadership.

You will work closely with the design, sourcing, production, marketing, B2B sales, and e-commerce teams to decide what we build, why we build it, and how it will win in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new product and category opportunities through market research, competitor analysis, sales data, customer insights, and feedback from B2B partners and end users.

  • Together with the Founder/Creative Director, shape product direction, category priorities, and the development roadmap.

  • Build clear business cases for new products, covering target customer, market need, product positioning, pricing logic, margin potential, development complexity, and launch priority.

  • Manage the full process from concept and product brief through supplier selection, sampling, testing, approvals, production handover, and launch readiness.

  • Own the category roadmap. Define which products we build, why we build them, and how they support Pando Moto’s commercial and brand strategy.

  • Align internal teams. Collaborate with design, production, sales, and marketing to ensure every product is commercially relevant, technically strong, on-brand, and ready to sell.

  • Manage, motivate, and develop the product team, improve execution, ownership, and product thinking.

  • Set clear priorities, support team members, improve execution discipline, and create a strong product development rhythm.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in physical product development, category management, or commercially driven product roles.

  • Experience taking products from concept to launch, including briefs, sampling, costing, testing, approvals, production handover, and launch readiness.

  • Strong ability to build business cases using market insights, competitor analysis, pricing logic, margin expectations, and customer demand.

  • Experience owning or contributing to a category roadmap and delivering against revenue, margin, quality, and timing targets.

  • Experience working with international suppliers on materials, construction, pricing, timelines, quality, and production readiness.

  • Strong understanding of apparel product quality, fit, materials, testing, and technical product requirements.

  • Ability to work closely with a Founder/Creative director, combining creative vision with market logic, structure, and execution discipline.

  • Clear communication in English with suppliers and internal teams.

  • Experience managing, motivating, and developing a product team.

Nice if you have

  • Experience in motorcycle, cycling, outdoor, sports, protective apparel, technical apparel, or performance equipment.

  • Understanding of CE certification, PPE products, abrasion-resistant materials, or functional garment testing.

  • Personal interest in motorcycles, adventure, mobility, design, or technical apparel.

  • Experience working with Asian or European manufacturing partners.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience using sales data, margin data, and customer insights to guide product decisions.

What We Offer

  • Real ownership and impact - influence what we build, why we build it, how we position it, and how it performs commercially.

  • Direct founder-level collaboration: work closely with the Founder / Creative Director on product direction, category priorities, and product DNA.

  • Global exposure - contribute to products sold internationally and take part in supplier visits, trade shows, brand trips and industry events.

  • A rider mindset in practice - motorcycle licence support, access to company motorcycles and an annual budget for Pando Moto products.

  • Health and wellbeing support – private health insurance.

  • Growth opportunities - a personal learning budget and space to grow professionally as the company continues to scale internationally.

  • Strong team culture - monthly Friday lunches, team events, birthday gifts, and a pet-friendly office.

Joining Pando Moto means becoming part of a small, ambitious and fast-moving team building motorcycle gear with real purpose, combining protection, performance and style without compromise.

We value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive, supportive workplace where people are trusted to take ownership, share ideas and make an impact. Join us and help shape the future of performance-driven motorcycle gear.
