Each pair of Robby Slim Black riding jeans is made of durable, super-stretch Cordura® fabric, reinforced with chain stitching. They’re rated performance Level AA in accordance with the EN 17092-3:2020 standard, tested to provide slide protection for 35 meters. Sewn into the jeans are hip and knee armor pockets, fitted with SAS-TEC TripleFlex CE Level 1 armor, providing impact protection for these high-risk areas.

As a single layer motorcycle jeans the Robby Slim Black have a lighter feel to them. Add to that Coolmax® technology, which provides good air permeability, making them more comfortable in warmer weather.

Can I wear these jeans off the bike for daily use?

It’s possible to wear the Robby Slim Black jeans off the bike, especially if you remove the impact protectors, but they may feel bulkier than standard jeans as they’re made of heavy duty Cordura denim.

How do I wash and care for these jeans without damaging the armor or material?

To wash your Robby Slim Black jeans, start by removing the armor. Then, put the jeans into the washing machine on a mild setting at 30°C before air drying. Do not iron, bleach, or tumble dry them as this could damage the fabric.

How does the CE Level AA protection compare to Level A or AAA?

When it comes to CE ratings, Level A is the base level for impact and abrasion resistance. A step up from that is Level AA, while the highest level of protection is offered by Level AAA garments.

Are the knee and hip armor pieces removable or upgradeable?

The knee and hip impact protectors that come with the Robby Slim Black are removable, and it’s possible to change them out if you want. The standard armor is SAS-TEC TripleFlex CE Level 1, but you could upgrade to SAS-TEC SC-1/KA2air CE Level 2 armor, which is available from the Pando Moto store.
