Size & Fit

Description

At Pando Moto we take pride in producing lightweight, highly protective base layers that are comfortable to wear while you ride. The Commando UH Grey is no exception.

Based on the best selling design of the Commando UH Black, this grey motorcycle jacket is made of Balistex and Cordura mesh. An innovative material, Balistex was originally used by police and military, but its lightweight nature, abrasion resistance, and incredible strength also make it an excellent material for motorcycle apparel. When put to the test, the Commando UH Grey was rated at performance Level AAA in accordance with the EN 17092-3:2020 standard.

The double layer jacket is highly versatile, able to be worn by itself, under a jacket, with a t-shirt on top or a singlet, or t-shirt underneath. It has a pouch attachment MOLLE system, increasing your carrying capacity, and the bi-stretch fabric helps keep the D3O® LP2 CE Level 2 (EN1621-1:2012) approved elbow and shoulder armor in place.

The grey color is more than an aesthetic choice; as well as looking good it reflects more sunlight than the black version. This helps keep you cooler when riding in warm weather, for greater comfort. The effect is enhanced by the heat conducting properties of Balistex and mesh weave of the Cordura.

A perfect combination of functionality, comfort and safety, the Commando UH Grey is a stand-out choice. Get yours today from the Pando Moto online store or closest partner retailer.

FAQ

Can I wear this mesh jacket in cooler weather?

While it is a great summer motorcycle jacket, there's nothing stopping you wearing the Commando UH Grey in cooler weather too. If you start to get too cold, simply layer it with a motorcycle jacket or casual hoodie or sweatshirt

How do I clean and maintain a mesh motorcycle jacket?

The Commando UH Grey jacket should either be hand-washed or machine washed on a gentle setting, before being air dried. Use cool water, mild detergent, and make sure the armor pieces are removed first to prevent the materials from being damaged.

Does a mesh motorcycle jacket still provide good protection?

To determine the protection offered by a riding jacket, it's best to look at the safety rating it has been given. The Commando UH Grey is rated Level AAA, which is the highest level of protection available under the EN 17092-3:2020 standard.

Can a mesh jacket be waterproof?

The functionality of a mesh jacket like the Commando UH Grey is centered around lightweight protection that's cooling, so they usually aren't waterproof, since waterproofing requires an internal or external waterproof membrane to be added. However, since these jackets are form fitting they can easily be worn with a waterproof jacket or shell when the need arises.

What should I wear under a mesh motorcycle jacket?

Underneath the Commando UH series of riding gear you could wear a singlet or light t-shirt, although they are designed to be worn alone as well.

Love the Commando jacket, was exactly what I needed for summer riding

Best summer jacket yet. Flows plenty of air and has a great fit. Just one major hang up. There is no way to hang this jacket up! No loop, and no hanger works. So it has to be folded away like a sweater in a drawer. And stay about 30' away from velcro. Far, far away from velcro. Other than those two issues it is almost perfect imo.

This made a bigger difference to my enjoyment of riding a bike than buying a new bike did

No crash yet but seems good. Out of the box one of the arms had loose threads on the outer protection side, so maybe quality control could be better
