Through their collaboration, PANDO MOTO and Royal Enfield have carefully and purposefully customized an Interceptor 650 to create a modern touring bike that ticks all the boxes. The outcome is a functional and safe motorcycle that exudes an undeniable sense of style.

Collaboration between innovators

At PANDO MOTO, style doesn’t have to come at the expense of functionality or safety. Instead, we design items using cutting-edge technologies that meet all three criteria, creating classically stylish ranges of protective riding apparel with a modern edge.

Royal Enfield has also successfully merged classic stylings with contemporary technology. They have released a series of new motorcycles that are inspired by some of their most popular models from the past 120+ years.

Inspiration behind our partnership

The inspiration for the PANDO MOTO X ROYAL ENFIELD collaboration was heavily influenced by the core values of PANDO MOTO. Together, we set out to create a touring motorcycle that was safe, functional and stylish, designed to suit the needs of the modern adventurer.

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650

The original Royal Enfield Interceptor was released in 1960. After it was discontinued in 1970, the popularity of the Interceptor grew among fans of vintage motorcycles. The passion that riders had for this particular model is what drove Royal Enfield to reintroduce it as a contemporary vehicle with modern design inclusions.

The new version, known as the Royal Enfield INT650, has updated features for improved performance, comfort, and safety, while also drawing inspiration from the timeless designs of the 1960s and 1970s.

No compromise on safety

When it comes to motorcycles, safety is paramount. It encompasses the rider’s physical safety and the protective qualities of their riding gear, as well as the reliability and functionality of the motorcycle they choose to hit the open road with. With a history that spans over 100 years, Royal Enfield has proven their ability to produce a dependable motorcycle time and time again.

Practical functionality

Performance, comfort, and practicality are three of the key areas where a motorcycle should satisfy its rider. The PANDO MOTO X ROYAL ENFIELD Interceptor 650 was designed to meet the demands of open road touring as well as urban riding. Spending long stretches of time on the bike is made easier by the comfortable setup, and each of the extra features was chosen to benefit the rider’s experience.

Unbeatable style

The motorcycle scene is inextricably linked with a certain sense of style. Through their apparel and choice of motorcycle, riders express their personal identity, and undeniable passion for these machines.

While many custom Royal Enfield Interceptors follow the raw metal, vintage design aesthetic, the  PANDO MOTO machine has a sleek, futuristic black matte design that’s in line with our brand. This causes it to stand out from the pack.

Here’s what’s unique about the PANDO MOTO X ROYAL ENFIELD build.

Wheels & fender

Starting from the ground up, the wheels feature a traditional spoke rim that complements the overall style of the motorcycle. Around the rim is a set of Continental tyres with the TKC80 tread pattern.  This well-known tyre design has a successful track record in a range of applications, including long distance riding and competition use. It boasts excellent on-road handling and strong side stability on softer tracks.

Mud guard & rear tail

The PANDO MOTO X ROYAL ENFIELD Interceptor features a specially designed front mudguard and rear tail that aligns with the overall design aesthetic of the build. Integrated into the tail is an LED by Tommy&Sons, a company that specializes in premium parts for custom motorcycles

Improved suspension

The rear suspension has been upgraded to a STX 36 Shock Absorber. It’s made by Öhlins, whose reputation for quality precedes them. The Öhlins STX 36 Shock Absorbers feature a classic monotube design made of high-quality components that improves performance and comfort. Due to the inclusion of adjustable damping, riders can customize the suspension to fit their preferred riding style.

Upgraded exhaust system

How the engine sounds has a huge impact on how people view a motorcycle. On the PANDO MOTO X ROYAL ENFIELD Interceptor, the stock standard exhaust components have been replaced with an Italian-made Zard exhaust system. Handmade in Italy, Zard is known for using premium materials and modern technology in their production process.

The Zard exhaust system is easily installed without requiring any modifications to the ECU. Many motorcycle enthusiasts appreciate the noticeable harsh increase in engine sound, finding it appealing. Meanwhile the visual aesthetic design was influenced by American flat track competition motorcycles.

The exhaust guard and rear tail surround the exhaust system are also unique due to their bespoke fairing.

Modern dashboard display

The digital dashboard of the Interceptor 650 is miles ahead of the original model. Made by Motoscope, the Motoscope Pro has an incredibly low profile appearance with 734 LED lights that combine to create a self-illuminating display. The display can be viewed in any light thanks to the contrast adjustment and adaptive brightness.

Indicators & mirrors

The indicators and mirrors on this customized Royal Enfield motorcycle were also manufactured by Motoscope. The styles were specifically selected because they complement the edgy yet understated appearance that the PANDO MOTO X ROYAL ENFIELD aimed to achieve.

Style & comfort all in one

A few of the additions and modifications on the PANDO MOTO X ROYAL ENFIELD motorcycle were made purely to increase rider comfort and streamline the aesthetic. The seat has a customized shape and is manufactured by hand giving it a premium feel. Modern handlebars have been added and bespoke plastics surround the retro-style headlamp. It also features a distinctive paint job and custom graphics set it apart from other Royal Enfield Interceptors.

A dream realized

Through their partnership, Royal Enfield and PANDO MOTO have created a unique version of the Interceptor 650 that accurately captures the vision PANDO MOTO’s founder had when he started the company. It is a fashionable yet practical motorcycle designed by riders for the modern adventurer.
